and it’s a beautiful day and everything is good…<\/p>\n

here are the photos i took of the LAST TOMB CEREMONY OF THE YEAR.\u00a0 the sky was beautiful on tuesday night.<\/p>\n

once again, kevin was in the back.\u00a0 he claims he’s in the back because he’s so tall.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i kept trying to get a good shot of him, but he was continually covered up by somebody.\u00a0 all you can see here is the top of his hand.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

and don’t those two guys to the right of him look at least as tall as him, if not taller?\u00a0 yes they are.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

as they got ready to shoot, i couldn’t see him at all, not even his jacket sleeve.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

there he is!\u00a0 looking very very serious.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i was about to get a good picture, and as the shutter finally clicked, this guy walked through.\u00a0 damb flag thing.<\/p>\n

the sky got more and more pretty.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

here they are at the end of the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

and this is the final picture of them for the year, unless i happen to be there when they’re doing some random thing between now and next summer.<\/p>\n

the next night, the sky in the back yard was incredible.\u00a0 when we walked out on the deck there was a pink cast to everything.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

the smoke stacks were really cool.\u00a0 they don’t even look real.\u00a0 i love this picture.\u00a0 kevin said they look two-dimensional, and i think he’s right.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

the pink didn’t last long, though.\u00a0 here it’s almost gone…<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i wanted to get a picture of the sky from the deck but it was hard to see much of the sky because of all the trees.\u00a0 we were about to race to the front yard to get another shot, but by then the pink was completely gone.<\/p>\n

wednesday was AMY’S BIRTHDAY, by the way.\u00a0 so if you happen to see her you can wish her a belated happy birthday, although she might not like that because she doesn’t like lots of attention focused on her and her special day.<\/p>\n

right now i have to make her BIRTHDAY CAKE because we’re celebrating tomorrow night.\u00a0 so if you do wish her a belated happy b’day, DON’T MENTION THE CAKE!<\/p>\n

actually she told me that she was going to make her own cake but i put my foot down at that.<\/p>\n

ok i must get busy now,<\/p>\n
