this morning i told somebody that nothing matters. NOTHING. MATTERS. i don\u2019t think i entirely convinced him.<\/p>\n
but it doesn\u2019t. really.<\/p>\n

hmm, how does that tone sound to you, the reader? kind of surly, maybe? or just completely apathetic about life as it is going on all around every single minute of every single day? <\/p>\n
that\u2019s it. the latter. apathy. not exactly surly or bitter or anything like that.<\/p>\n
last night i washed down one half an antihistamine with a glass of red wine. not a WINE glass, because they\u2019re too tippy and there would be an excellent chance of knocking it over. a juice glass.<\/p>\n
it worked, really well. OUT like a light i was, and then i slept and slept.<\/p>\n
weird dreams, though. but this was a refreshing change from the usual boring dreams.<\/p>\n
except the weird dreams were a little disturbing.<\/p>\n
i slept up till five a.m. – ok, this is not the time i normally get up. as a matter of fact, i can\u2019t exactly recall if i\u2019ve ever gotten up at five. i\u2019m sure i did at some time in my life, but it\u2019s been a while. but even then, i didn\u2019t lie there tossing and turning for hours, i went back to sleep.<\/p>\n
drugs are your friend.<\/p>\n
as long as you don\u2019t ABUSE them, of course. like, if i\u2019d taken a WHOLE antihistamine instead of a half. then i\u2019d have been really groggy today, and that won\u2019t do because i\u2019m about to MASSAGE AND MASSAGE AND MASSAGE.<\/p>\n
a very very busy afternoon. in just a few minutes. <\/p>\n
and then rehearsal. and thad and christine will come to my rehearsal and we\u2019ll go out.<\/p>\n
but i hope they won\u2019t expect to stay out late because i just can\u2019t do that.<\/p>\n
but maybe i\u2019ll go really crazy and have a diet coke today. that should keep me up late.<\/p>\n
sun, by the way? no. hell no. no more sun. sorry, charlie, maybe there\u2019ll be sun in 2006? <\/p>\n
which, in case you haven\u2019t heard, is going to be a really FANTASTIC year.<\/p>\n
my character in the play, says FANTASTIC a lot. also TERRIFIC. quite a bit of that.<\/p>\n
FANTASTIC, with a british accent. and doing it with the issue makes it sound even more…FANTASTIC.<\/p>\n
