i wish there was a way to better order the lineup of videos here on my site.\u00a0 hopefully now if you click on it, though, the first cake video will come up, instead of the second one.\u00a0 they both look the same at the beginning, except one says “part one” and the other, “part two.”<\/p>\n

it’s beautiful, BEAUTIFUL here again today.\u00a0 perfect weather.\u00a0 wednesday we took a long, totally peaceful boat ride.\u00a0 no hysteria, no trying to push the boat away from the rocks with broken oars.\u00a0 just cruising around the almost-empty lake.<\/p>\n

ok, here are gobs of the photos from randy’s HUGE BIRTHDAY PARTY.<\/p>\n

first, decorating – it was me and kevin, amy and jim, mom, and lori ann and lori tinsley.\u00a0 jim is hanging a great banner that lori bought that reads HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY.\u00a0 i’m sure there’s a photo of it somewhere.<\/p>\n

we were at the Aqua Club, a great place for a party.<\/p>\n

here’s mom and amy, hanging up the blown up photos of randy all over the place.<\/p>\n

this is one of the photos we had blown up – it’s randy with mary young, in “victor victoria.”\u00a0 i love this picture because they both look so very very funny, especially randy with his mouth like that.<\/p>\n

when mary arrived at the party, we thought they should re-create the pose.\u00a0 that’s randy’s birthday mug, which lori bought and had painted the night before the party.\u00a0 lori is VERY enthusiastic about parties, a fine quality in a person.<\/p>\n

mary kate and jake, randy and lori ann.\u00a0 her shirt reads “diva witch” – she’s going to be the witch in “into the woods” which opens tonight at muni.\u00a0 she just sent me a photo of her in full witch makeup, which i’m going to post later.<\/p>\n

mary kate and their cute daughter stella were in the happy birthday video i made for randy.\u00a0 stella is HYSTERICAL and hysterically funny in it.\u00a0 because the video is 28 minutes long, i have to break it into chunks to put it up here.\u00a0 that probably won’t\u00a0 be happening today.<\/p>\n

i’m wearing a top that randy gave me.<\/p>\n

mary and cynda both wore maxi dresses.\u00a0 i feel that a maxi dress would just be too 70’s for me, personally.\u00a0\u00a0 at least a couple other women were wearing them, so clearly, they’re very very trendy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

gil opferman with randy, luda and moses.\u00a0 luda was a ballerina, from russia, but i’m pretty sure she’s not one of the russian spies.\u00a0 she’s beautiful and very very tall – taller than kevin! plus she always wears heels.<\/p>\n

if i was that beautiful, thin and tall, i would wear a bikini all the time, even in the winter.<\/p>\n

margaret boswell and dad.\u00a0 turns out that margaret didn’t get an invitation because it got lost in the mail – this happened to a few other people, including amy and jim.\u00a0 it’s tricky, sending postcard invitations through the mail.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

david, kevin, and bill castor.\u00a0 where did my brother get that beautiful gold shirt?\u00a0 he looked very dapper that night.\u00a0 at one point lori ann even managed to drag him out on the dance floor.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

linda castor, randy, and john simon.\u00a0 john was part of the group of guys who dressed up like the village people and put on quite a show for randy.\u00a0 i videotaped it and will put it up here very soon.\u00a0 john was the cop – he borrowed kevin’s motorcycle cop shirt and shoulder harness belt thing, and wore amy’s cop hat. really really funny.\u00a0 linda, of course, looks beautiful as always.<\/p>\n

i went around and took pictures of every table.\u00a0 i don’t know why david looks so strange and blotchy in this – i guess because he was so close to the camera.\u00a0 that’s bev next to mom.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i guess i don’t know who many of these people are.\u00a0 the beautiful girl on the right is selina, and that’s cory to her right.\u00a0 the couple on the other side…i don’t know.\u00a0 i know randy invited them.\u00a0 i bet their names are…jan and rob?\u00a0 fran and burt?\u00a0 carol and jake?\u00a0 i have no idea.<\/p>\n

right in the middle, with the balloon in front of his face, is josh ratz.\u00a0 he has a beard because he is going to be JESUS.\u00a0 he and his lovely model-like wife julie were in the b’day video and they were SO FUNNY.\u00a0 over there on the right is lori ann’s husband larry, who was also in the village people – i think it was his idea.\u00a0 SO FUNNY.\u00a0 across from him is shelley simon, who has two very cute little daughters.<\/p>\n

ann and gil, glenn and jennifer.\u00a0 in the video of village people, look for gil with a wild grin on his face.\u00a0 that gil is one of the happiest people i know.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

karla joell, mary, who i haven’t seen in such a long time – i love mary, she’s really funny and nice.\u00a0 next to her is loy, then steve jones is at the head of the table.\u00a0 on the other side, cynda, gary and judy.<\/p>\n

randy with leigh and david.\u00a0 i don’t even remember saying hi to leigh, but i must have, or at least i took her picture.<\/p>\n

i took this photo of the crowd, and mom is the only one who notices me doing so.\u00a0 hmm, i guess kevin is also looking my way.<\/p>\n

mary, randy, randy’s mom, keith, john, and…i can’t remember her name.\u00a0 a lovely young woman.\u00a0 kate?\u00a0 kathy?\u00a0 no.\u00a0 i can’t remember.<\/p>\n

behind the bar is LORI TINSLEY.\u00a0 she belongs to the club, which is why we could have the party there, and she bought lots of decorations for the party, and then she worked behind the bar most of the night.\u00a0 a really REALLY hard-working woman.\u00a0 across from her with his eyes closed is her husband bill.\u00a0 next to them is a very friendly fellow who was also in the village people video, wearing leater.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 i think in the back there wearing a pink shirt is matt, and i have no idea who the woman next to him is.<\/p>\n

crazy gina, who always loves to make a funny face when getting her picture taken.\u00a0 very funny, because she’s so lovely and always making goofy faces.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

cynda wanted her boobs squished together so they’d look bigger, and amy and gina were nice enough\u00a0 to oblige.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

the cake!\u00a0 it was only slightly harrowing driving it over to the club because it was only two minutes away.\u00a0 kevin did the driving because i couldn’t trust myself.<\/p>\n
