i have a new addiction, and it is “sex & the city.” this is a more satisfying addiction than my previous and long-ago (relatively speaking) addiction to the soap opera “all my children,” because that addiction was more about this weird compulsive\/obsessive desire to see how everything would unfold in all the dramas going on even though it was predictable and over the top and not very well acted and not very well written and all of that. this addiction, though, it makes me laugh sometimes, and that\u2019s a good thing. plus all the stuff that\u2019s completely true about my life. <\/p>\n
i don\u2019t like all the ads, though, but soon, SOON, i will buy myself a nice gift, the whole series, and then that\u2019s all i\u2019ll do, just watch it over and over.<\/p>\n
until spring.<\/p>\n
there are many victoria\u2019s secret ads during the show, and they are an awful lot like erotica. very shapely women in little bitty nothings getting water poured on them and stuff. and then right after that are ads for arby\u2019s, showing glistening fried batter dipped chicken things served with some thick glommy sauce, probably some variation on ranch dressing. and cookie ads. <\/p>\n
i\u2019m glad i\u2019m going to buy the show so i don\u2019t have to watch the actual tv with the ads anymore. because they\u2019re too annoying. even muted.<\/p>\n
soon i will sleep. and then i will wake up, and it will be spring, and the sky will be blue, etc etc etc.<\/p>\n
if i lived SOMEPLACE WARM, that is.<\/p>\n
it was always like that in LA.<\/p>\n
