it’s about to begin, in just an hour or so…i have to be at the oral surgeon at 8:30 and i’m sure they’ll first make me pay the HUGE AMOUNT for the pulling of the lone tooth…and then i get what will hopefully be really good drugs because they sure are expensive.<\/p>\n
last night trying to sleep, i woke up at 12:43 and mollie was snoring SO LOUDLY.\u00a0 i mean, more loudly than she’s been snoring lately.\u00a0 kevin then started snoring a little so i got out the earplugs and all was good.\u00a0 i did toss and turn a while anyway, and i’m pretty sure that’s because i did NOT follow the doctor’s orders about having a lowfat diner last night – i made deep dish chicago-style pizza and only had one piece, figuring that would be a little bit “lowfat” but when i was lying there in bed not sleeping i added up the amount of butter in the crust – my one slice had 1 3\/4 TBSP in it.\u00a0 it was a little bit healthy because instead of 3 1\/4 cups of unbleached flour i used 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour, 1 cup white whole wheat flour, and 1 1\/4 cups unbleached flour.\u00a0 much more nutritious, and it turned out great.\u00a0 but it was also covered with copious amounts of cheese so even the one slice wasn’t exactly low fat.<\/p>\n
mollie and i did run around the park yesterday for 25 minutes, and then later in the day we ran through the field with kevin for 25 minutes, so that’s a lot of running for mollie and me…it never was as warm yesterday as i wanted it to be, but at least we had a little sunshine, as opposed to this morning which is gray and gloomy as usual.<\/p>\n
kevin started out zig-zagging along, and then he decided to literally run circles around me.\u00a0 when we got to the soccor goal cage things he did a few chin-ups.\u00a0 i tried a chin-up just for the ridiculousness of it.<\/p>\n
i’m supposed to rest FOR THE REST OF THE DAY after this thing is over and i’m NOT SUPPOSED TO USE ANY MACHINERY OR POWER TOOLS.\u00a0 so there go all my housebuilding plans.\u00a0 what about driving, why didn’t it say i’m not supposed to drive any big vehicles?\u00a0 or small ones, for that matter?<\/p>\n
plus somebody is supposed to stay with me for 24 hours.\u00a0 i mentioned this to randy yesterday, and I said that’s maybe so i don’t go crazy or something after getting tooth pulled and realizing i’m going to look like a hillbilly for several months, but he said, no, it’s in case it starts bleeding uncontrollably and i CHOKE AND DROWN ON THE BLOOD.<\/p>\n
why, oh why, did i even mention this to randy? i thanked him for bringing that up because it hadn’t occurred to me.<\/p>\n
