at least i know some people had the day off, because when i went running this morning, there weren\u2019t many cars on the road.<\/p>\n
i saw a dead raccoon, and later, two deer (not dead). the deer just looked at me as i ran by. i\u2019m not a threat to anybody.<\/p>\n
christine called. it snowed all night in denver. they\u2019re going to get TEN INCHES OF SNOW TODAY.<\/p>\n
i\u2019ve been thiking about it, though, and here the thing – it\u2019s snowing a ridiculous amount, and it\u2019s only OCTOBER 10TH, and the thought of that is too awful to think about. but on the other hand, it\u2019s going to warm up there starting on wednesday, and by friday it\u2019s supposed to be in the 70\u2019s and sunny.<\/p>\n
that\u2019s a huge difference between there and here. if it snowed 10 inches here, i\u2019m sure it would have already been cold for a while, and the snow would pretty much take forever to melt. it would stay cold, there\u2019d be no happy 70-degree sunny weather to look forward to, but instead, the ceaseless neverending mind-numbing grey cold of winter.<\/p>\n
why do i live here again?<\/p>\n
i want to buy a house, but i don\u2019t want to buy a house, because if i buy a house, i\u2019m going to live in it for a good long while. years and years. but if i buy a house, that means i\u2019ll be here, year after year, winter after winter.<\/p>\n
i guess i\u2019ll see how this winter goes, if i manage to survive another one.<\/p>\n
i am glad that we\u2019re not having 10 inches of snow right now.<\/p>\n
