{"id":2543,"date":"2009-10-31T08:51:38","date_gmt":"2009-10-31T13:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/?p=2543"},"modified":"2009-10-31T08:51:38","modified_gmt":"2009-10-31T13:51:38","slug":"halloween-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/uncategorized\/halloween-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"halloween morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>yesterday when my MIL Nancy called, we talked a little bit about Honey, who was famous for brining in live and dead animals and birds.<\/p>\n<p>Winnie must have been listening.\u00a0 this morning when i got up, the first thing i saw was a dead mouse on the bedroom rug.\u00a0 Clearly, he wanted us to know that Honey wasn&#8217;t the only Killer Cat in the house.<\/p>\n<p>When i came out into the living room he was lying on Kevin&#8217;s lap, clearly exhausted from his toils.<\/p>\n<p>i like this picture because his eyes are glowing in an appropriately halloween-type manner.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2544\" title=\"adj-1\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/adj-1.jpg\" alt=\"adj-1\" width=\"340\" height=\"397\" \/><\/p>\n<p>last night we went to see the play &#8220;the rocky horror show&#8221; at the hoogland, and it was really fun.\u00a0 the audience was enthusiastic about yelling out all those appropriate lines, and the old guy in front of us seemed to be particularly adept at it.\u00a0 at intermission i leaned over to him and said he must have seen the movie a lot and he said, &#8220;yep, thousands of times, starting in the 70&#8217;s, in Peoria, Bloomington, Chicago.&#8221;\u00a0 like i said, he was pretty old and wore a &#8220;101st airborne&#8221; ball cap.<\/p>\n<p>some people were in costume for the event.\u00a0 one guy was dressed like Brad Majors, in tighty whities and a robe and the big glasses.\u00a0 it was funny to look at him during intermission, just nonchantly standing around in his BVDs.<\/p>\n<p>one guy was dressed as Frank-n-Furter, and he was even taller than the one in the play, joshua ratz, who was very VERY tall in his heels.\u00a0 joshua did an excellent job of strutting around in those heels, which must have taken a huge amount of practice.<\/p>\n<p>mary young should get some special prize for being so amazing at looking so perfect for a role.\u00a0 she was Magenta, and her wigs, costumes and makeup were perfect.\u00a0 plus, of course, she acted exactly like Magenta in the movie.\u00a0 actually, i think annie germann did all the makeup, and annie can do no wrong.<\/p>\n<p>kudos should also go to patrick russell and shannon lawler, who were up on stage in their underwear for most of the play.\u00a0 actually, at least shannon got to wear a slip, but patrick was just wearing the underwear.\u00a0 but then again, the guy in the audience didn&#8217;t seem to be bothered by dressing like that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>it&#8217;s cool that springfield had such an interesting and funny show for halloween, especially because it was so much about audience participation.<\/p>\n<p>if you want to go, it&#8217;s still playing tonight at five and nine, and i bet there are at least still tix for the early show.<\/p>\n<p>i have to do stuff for the party now, like cutting the velveeta into chunks.\u00a0 hopefully not a very stressful and frantic day today&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>ok then,<\/p>\n<p>halloween grace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>yesterday when my MIL Nancy called, we talked a little bit about Honey, who was famous for brining in live and dead animals and birds.
