Our plane didn&#8217;t leave til the three in the afternoon so it was a leisurely drive to the St. Louis airport Or it would have been a leisurely drive, except as we neared St. Louis it started to pour down rain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The only thing I hate more than driving in the pouring rain on the highway is driving in the rain at night on the highway. I&#8217;d hate it even more if it was snowing, of course, but I&#8217;m pretty sure I wouldn&#8217;t be driving in the snow. Anyway, it had kind of let up when we made a pit stop at a gas station outside St. Louis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">When we got back in the car it was once again raining buckets, so I was a little snappy with Mom when she was talking about whatever as I melted down trying to navigate I-270 and get onto the other highway to the airport. But we thankfully made it to long-term parking and I was very happy to leave the car behind me.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;ve flown a lot in my life, but I was excited to see the Statue of Liberty down below.  I attempted a picture but it&#8217;s pretty impossible to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/n1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/n1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/n1-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 540px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">We checked into the Warwick New York in the evening and here&#8217;s a short video of our very fancy suite.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wVdcPHFSmao?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">At first I thought, &#8220;This was too extravagant,&#8221; but I quickly realized it was perfect.  I love the Warwick &#8211; it&#8217;s a beautiful and historic place, and close enough to theaters but well outside of the crazy theater district.  It&#8217;s on 54th and 6th Avenue, so also close to Central Park.  We were very hungry and decided to head for an Original Rays&#8217; Pizza which was not too far.  We got there around 8:30, very late for me to eat dinner, and there weren&#8217;t many other people there.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/n2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22963\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/n2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/n2-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">As we sat there, though, the place filled up.  It wasn&#8217;t a fancy place, with the giant slices of pizza on paper plates, but man was it delicious.  I could eat a piece right now.  We got back to the hotel and watched TV and it was a fine start to our trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Ok then, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Mrs. Mmmmm Ray&#8217;s Pizza Hughes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mom and I left for New York on Thursday, June 18th.
