{"id":22514,"date":"2025-05-28T22:36:11","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T03:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/?p=22514"},"modified":"2025-05-28T22:36:26","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T03:36:26","slug":"a-run-in-may","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/uncategorized\/a-run-in-may\/","title":{"rendered":"A Run in May"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">There are many other things I want so say about this month of May which is shortly coming to an end, but this run (slow jog) in particular is what I want to write about tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m going on a brief two-night trip, leaving in the morning, so of course tonight I&#8217;m going a little crazy per usual, trying  get stuff done and making myself more agitated than usual.  And one of the things I&#8217;m desperate to do is a little writing, as Spot cries plaintively at me from the garage, not understand why I&#8217;m not there to feed him and let him sprawl on my lap.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">But anyway, on May 22nd I started out at the crack of 10:45 for a run, heading across the street to the new woods.  Because we&#8217;d had such a lot of rain the grass was even taller.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Not much of a path, right?  But the deer had still been travellng on it.  The grass was over waist high on either side of me, but all was good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m15-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22515\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m15-1.jpg 400w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m15-1-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Near the end of the new part of the path the grass was even taller but there was a little trail even though you can&#8217;t see it.  Up ahead there is the field.  At one point I almost stepped in the giant hole which I&#8217;d seen countless times but now it was pretty well hidden but somehow I managed not to fall in and break my leg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m16-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22516\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m16-1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m16-1-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 540px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">And yay me, I emerged unscathed from the new woods and was about to head into the old part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m19.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22517\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m19.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/m19-480x360.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 540px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">There&#8217;s an upper part and a lower part of the old woods, and I&#8217;d always preferred the lower part because I could run next to the water, but for at least a few years now it&#8217;s been an obstacle course instead of a place where I could run at least a little and I did get a little disoriented one time. I hate hate hate having to turn around and go back but I realized that I had no choice.
