After our long walk up the High Line park we stopped briefly at the super fancy new Hudson Yards shopping mall and then took the new subway to get over to Times Square.  It was late in the afternoon and scads of people were rushing to get on the insanely steep and long escalator going down to the subway.  I wish i&#8217;d taken a picture but it was a little unnerving to ride on such a steep escalator.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was pandemonium when we reached Times Square, as it always is.  Even though it always is, it&#8217;s still kind of jarring. Here&#8217;s the lobby of Radio City Music Hall.  i didn&#8217;t notice til now that the wreaths in the lobby say &#8220;Chase.&#8221;  how christmasy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/n10-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/n10-1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/n10-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>About 10 minutes before she show started these two guys were suddenly playing christmas carols on organs on either side of the stage. fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/n11-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17769\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/n11-1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/n11-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The show was awesome.  The funny thing is that before we went to New York, Mom saw the Rockettes on TV and said, &#8220;i don&#8217;t really want to go see them.&#8221;  i told her that they&#8217;d be better in person, and luckily she agreed after going to the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it was all so much spectacle &#8211; great dancing and costumes and the scenery was fantastic plus they did some 3D stuff at the beginning which was entertaining.  at some point they did a brief version of the whole nativity thing, with live animals including at least three camels, some sheep and maybe&#8230;goats?  i can&#8217;t exactly remember.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the Rockettes did their kick lines a few times, but then they did it at the very end of the finale, in their gold costumes. The place was just too jam-packed with people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, we went back to Brooklyn and walked north from our subway stop just two blocks to a delicious, hip thai restaurant called Misc.
