Ayatollah Khatami dismisses Obama\u2019s anti-Iran claims<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n TEHRAN (IRNA) — Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami here Friday dismissed recent \u201cuncalculated\u201d anti-Iran claims of the U.S.\u2019 \u201cnouveau de rich\u201d President-Elect Barack Obama. <\/span><\/strong> \u201cIt seems that the \u201cnouveau de rich\u201d has not identified Iran well.<\/p>\n One should make him know Iran properly. He (Obama) has recently claimed that Iran\u2019s development of its nuclear arms are unacceptable; that its support for (the so-called) terrorist groups such as Hizbollah (of Lebanon) is unacceptable and that we should try to pile up economic pressures on Iran,\u201d Khatami in his second sermon to this week\u2019s Friday prayers congregation at Tehran University campus quoted Obama as claiming. \u201cHe (Obama) has raised the carrot and stick policy.
