here’s the only photo i could find online of my slipper-shoes that kevin gave me THAT I LOVE.<\/p>\n

they’re the ones on the right.\u00a0 on the sportsman’s guide website, they say the below footwear is, left to right, roll booties, booties, and clogs.\u00a0 mine are the clogs at the very bottom right , with the fake fur warm fabulous stuff around the top.<\/p>\n

CLOGS.\u00a0 so that sounds like you could wear them out in public, doesn’t it?\u00a0 wearing clogs out in public.\u00a0 other humans do that.<\/p>\n

but all the verbage in the ad calls them SLIPPERS.<\/p>\n

here’s the opening paragraph of the description:<\/p>\n

“Why drive to the maul (I mean, “mall”)? <\/strong>My high-quality Slippers will fit every foot, soothe all those toes and please your budget. Slippers are one of our most popular items.”<\/p>\n

SLIPPERS.<\/p>\n

i’ve been wearing them when i give massages, but i figure that nobody pays much attention anyway because they’re focused on being relaxed and destressed and getting pain relief.<\/p>\n

but today i decided to go out and give blood.\u00a0 kevin assured me once again that they’re SHOES that can be worn IN PUBLIC.<\/p>\n

so out i went in my SLIPPER CLOGS.<\/p>\n

i got to the blood center and the waiting room was packed with people.\u00a0 the lady at the desk said the wait was going to be anywhere from a half hour to 45 minutes, so i said i’d come back tomorrow.<\/p>\n

so i had no chance to see if people were looking at me askance, wearing my SLIPPER CLOGS.<\/p>\n

slippers, clogs, i suppose in the long run or even the short run for that matter it doesn’t really matter.\u00a0 dressed in my pink barack obama stocking cap and my warm and fabulous slippers, i’ll survive the winter and hopefully won’t be sent away somewhere because of my apparent craziness.<\/p>\n

unless it was somewhere warm, that would be fine.<\/p>\n

ok then,<\/p>\n

ALREADY thursday night grace<\/p>\n

p.s. the more i think about it, the more i want to wear my slipper clogs ALL THE TIME.\u00a0 unless there’s lots of snow on the ground.\u00a0 but why not?\u00a0 out to dinner, to holiday parties, to the grocery store of course…perhaps i’ll start a fashion trend.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
