my dad died. \u00a0it’s weird to think of it being four years ago.<\/p>\n

here’s an old photo of mom and dad at a going-away party for somebody, many many years ago. \u00a0i have no memory whatsoever of this event, but i know i was there because i saw a picture of me at the event. \u00a0i looked like i was having fun.<\/p>\n

mom and dad are singing\u00a0the song “Big D” from musical \u00a0“the most happy fella,” which they were in many, many years ago. \u00a0i went to rehearsals with them all the time and still remember many of the words to many of the songs. \u00a0and yet i don’t remember being at this party.<\/p>\n

dad loved las vegas. \u00a0amy bought this little pink monkey for dad when he was in the hospital, and she brought it to las vegas with her when we went there on may 2nd. \u00a0dad would have loved our rooms\u00a0at the Signature suites.<\/p>\n

and here’s amy and me at the Bellagio Hotel Conservatory and Gardens – this is called “japanese spring,” and dad loved everything japanese. \u00a0this was\u00a0may 3rd, his birthday.<\/p>\n

in a cab going to see Cher at the Monte Carlo.<\/p>\n
