of the beach in orange beach&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>as i&#8217;ve said, these little sandpipers are my favorite birds at my favorite place, the beach.<\/p>\n<p>here&#8217;s a video.<br watched them i realized that one was hopping on one leg &#8211; somehow he&#8217;d lost a leg, poor little guy. \u00a0i bet it was fishing line. \u00a0you need to watch this full screen to see him; he&#8217;s the one second from the left.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1m9Etrh4XGU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 8th we stopped at a little coffee shop for some libation and a delicious little apple pie. \u00a0this place was in one of the endless strip malls lining the main road, but it was nicely decorated and locally-owned, a nice break from a chain like starbucks.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14720\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/m31.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>when had left the hotel, an old guy was swimming back and forth in the pool wearing a strange snorkel.<\/p>\n<p>an hour later, he was still there. \u00a0diligent.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14721\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>we saw a lot of these parasails; i think this one had a weight attached to it, just out there to drum up business. \u00a0we didn&#8217;t try it, even though it looked fun.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14722\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>for dinner we tried a place with a good view of the bay. \u00a0the food wasn&#8217;t bad, but nothing to write home about.<\/p>\n<p><img 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and just to show you how exciting and crazy we are on vacation, here&#8217;s a photo of kevin at wal mart, where we stopped after dinner. sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>speaking of partying, the next morning kevin tried the pancake machine. \u00a0i&#8217;ve never seen one like this, and yes, i wish i had one at home. \u00a0although it would take up too much counter space. \u00a0and i never eat pancakes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14725\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>the breakfast room wasn&#8217;t so big, the TVs were on, and the place was pretty full. \u00a0we opted to take our meal out to the pool, because it was warm and sunny, and why isn&#8217;t the place full of others doing the same thing?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14727\"
