i’m outside writing.\u00a0 most of the halloween decorations have been taken down.\u00a0 we took the dogs for a long walk.\u00a0 i haven’t ONLY eaten halloween candy thus far today; i also had some pancakes.<\/p>\n

here’s ralph shank, who i had never met till friday night.\u00a0 i’ve seen him in plays before, and he seems like a nice guy.\u00a0 like randy, he also had two costumes. the other one is underneath this one and he seemed hesitant to reveal it.\u00a0 before he left, though, he did.<\/p>\n

keith, always scary, dancing out on the screened porch.<\/p>\n

here’s keith with his mask off, kind of looking like a heroin addict.\u00a0 it’s also funny because keith is bald in real life.<\/p>\n

fran, who was canadian bacon.\u00a0 i thought that was funny.<\/p>\n

kevin with ron who had the piercings all over his face.\u00a0 one of ron’s horns fell off.\u00a0 that’s what happens when you get your horns and piercings for only four bucks at wal mart.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

randy in his second “boring” (in his words) costume with steve.\u00a0 or as randy likes to call him, “dr. steve.”\u00a0 dr. steve won one of the two sexiest costume awards.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

here’s selina, the other “sexiest costume” winner.\u00a0 i wish you could see her big red platform boots.\u00a0 she’s with cory, who i’d also never met before.\u00a0 i love this photo because there in back of them is jim the hippie, and in back of him is john mccain.<\/p>\n

AMY! queen of the party!\u00a0 with randy, who was looking like he was in lots of pain.\u00a0 it’s funny, but i think amy made this face every time anybody took her picture.\u00a0 she wore something kind of similiar a couple of years ago and made that exact face.\u00a0 i’ll have to find that photo and put it up here.<\/p>\n

but i digress.\u00a0 moving on with this year’s photos and there are SO MANY of them…<\/p>\n

see?\u00a0 she can’t stop making that face.\u00a0 i don’t know if you can see that i’m wearing my barack obama pin.\u00a0 so i’m a barack obama spring chicken.<\/p>\n

HERE’S the grand prize costume winner!\u00a0 dad came in wielding that big cleaver, swingining it menacingly at people, nibbling on his big plastic rat.\u00a0 very very funny.\u00a0 you can see where amy gets her sense of the<\/p>\n

and here’s me and amy with mom and dad.\u00a0 mom won\u00a0 the people’s choice grand prize, but like i wrote before, she and dad snuck out before they could get their prestigious awards.\u00a0 mom was a fortune teller, and had spent months collecting fortunes whenever she went to chinese restaurants.\u00a0 they’re pinned all over the front of her shawl.<\/p>\n

one of my favorite photos – the triumverate of palins plus john.\u00a0 eric was the last palin to arrive.\u00a0 it’d threatened that i was going to make he stay outside if she dressed as palin, but since there were so many of them, it was funny.\u00a0 amy said that in seeing them she wanted to do all their hair so it would look like palin’s hair really is.<\/p>\n

this is also one of my favorite photos.\u00a0 linda and bill; she was nurse rached and he was…a guy drinking beer out of one of those things you pee in.\u00a0 i love it that linda looks dead serious here and bill just looks crazy.<\/p>\n

can you tell that this man has only about 13 more days left till he gets to retire?\u00a0 yeah, he’s pretty happy all the time.\u00a0 not that he wasn’t happy before.\u00a0 note the banana in his holster.\u00a0 a nice touch.<\/p>\n

captain underpants!\u00a0 my my.\u00a0 ralph finally felt comfortable enough to reveal all.<\/p>\n

here’s chuck and his wife heather.\u00a0 he’s a scottish version of the green…hornet?\u00a0 i think.\u00a0 he should have won “most obscure.”\u00a0 very funny.<\/p>\n

jasmin and kim.\u00a0 i LOVE the green pom poms on jasmin’s headdress.\u00a0 kim’s is also cool.\u00a0 also their makeup was great.\u00a0 amy tried to get me to wear yellow makeup and i did try it but then i decided it was horrible.<\/p>\n

GEE that’s a lot of photos, and i’m not even done.\u00a0 there are still several more, but i really have to stop doing this now.\u00a0 more later.<\/p>\n
