yes, you heard right. \u00a0tomorrow morning we’re getting a puppy.<\/p>\n
where have i been for almost a month now, you ask? \u00a0busy. \u00a0then sick. \u00a0still kinda sick, but got some good drugs today that will hopefully magically work overnight and i’ll be right as rain in the morning.<\/p>\n
meanwhile…<\/p>\n
a puppy.<\/p>\n
her name is cocoa. \u00a0or coco? \u00a0somebody already named her, but did they spell it?<\/p>\n
mollie has been gone for three and a half years now, and my friend jill regularly sends me cute pix of many, many, many dogs who desperately need a home.<\/p>\n
i always say “ask kevin,” which shuts her up, because kevin doesn’t want a new dog.<\/p>\n
until\u00a0last week.<\/p>\n
and now…she sent a photo and then, when i was with her, she called kevin and said that i really wanted the dog and i texted kevin and said “you know she’s scamming you, right?” and he texted back and said “you don’t like Coco?” \u00a0i’m reading his text right now, shocked that it was just last week that he sent it,tuesday, december 6th and then jill came over with coco and had a meet-n-greet, and she’s coming to live here tomorrow.<\/p>\n
so that’s what’s going on. \u00a0plus it’s going to be sub-zero later in the week.<\/p>\n
i did manage to get all the decorations on the tree (with lots of help from mom), and got all the many many tubs out of the living room, and kevin just brought them up yesterday morning. \u00a0even though i haven’t had the strength to do much of anything, we had to have some xmas cheer around here.<\/p>\n
and now we do.<\/p>\n
and then a puppy…<\/p>\n
