{"id":13916,"date":"2016-07-22T17:45:03","date_gmt":"2016-07-22T22:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/?p=13916"},"modified":"2016-07-22T17:45:03","modified_gmt":"2016-07-22T22:45:03","slug":"sailing-home-from-wales-on-the-qm2-sunday-aug-30th-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wales-2015\/sailing-home-from-wales-on-the-qm2-sunday-aug-30th-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Sailing home from Wales on the QM2 &#8211; Sunday Aug 30th, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>sunday morning we got up early again and started watching a fascinating documentary about Roger Ebert. \u00a0It was still chilly outside, about 57 or so.<\/p>\n<p>one great thing about making the transatlantic crossing on the QM2 is that we gradually set the clocks forward, or back, like we did on the way home.<\/p>\n<p>We walked nine times around the deck, and were pretty proud of ourselves for doing that. \u00a0We also walked up to both the outside and inside pools, up to the top of the ship. \u00a0After our laps, we saw about a dozen dolphins! \u00a0It happened too fast to get any photos.<\/p>\n<p>We didn&#8217;t see anything at all interesting on the ship itinerary for the day, but we did enjoy a delicious lunch.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13917\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w922.jpg\" alt=\"w922\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w922.jpg 400w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w922-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>we watched yet another movie, this one with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. \u00a0&#8220;Edge of Tomorrow.&#8221; \u00a0a bleak version of the &#8220;groundhog day&#8221; vein. \u00a0it was pretty engrossing and clever. \u00a0wow, that&#8217;s a lot of TV in one day.<\/p>\n<p>we peeked into the theater to see the National Symphony Orchestra of Great Britain rehearsing. \u00a0that was cool.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13918\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w923.jpg\" alt=\"w923\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w923.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w923-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and then more music &#8211; we went to the Winter Garden and heard this dixieland jazz band playing. \u00a0so i was wrong in my last post about that being the last post of the Winter Garden, cause here it is again one last time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13919\" src=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w924.jpg\" alt=\"w924\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w924.jpg 540w, https:\/\/graceuncensored.com\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/w924-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>after dinner we actually went to the first performance that the National Symphony Orchestra did &#8211; they played American composers including a phenomenal &#8220;rhapsody in blue.&#8221; \u00a0they passed out little American flags before the concert, which was fun.<\/p>\n<p>at the end, the conductor, Anthony Inglis, let a little kid come up on stage and conduct. \u00a0it was quite entertaining. \u00a0here&#8217;s anthony, ringing a bell at key moments. \u00a0i wonder what the song was?
