i started the morning planting pampas grass.\u00a0 kevin ordered some and thought it would arrive in the spring.<\/p>\n
nope.\u00a0 had to be done this morning, no other time to do it.<\/p>\n
five pampas grasses, plus four ferns.\u00a0 i couldn’t figure out which was the part of the fern bulb that was supposed to be pointing down.\u00a0 perhaps they’ll grow, but maybe not.\u00a0 it was kind of chilly this morning.\u00a0 still chilly right now.\u00a0 i turned on the furnace this evening after david came over and said it was cold (he was wearing shorts) and i looked at the thermostat and it was only 62 in here.\u00a0 brrrr.<\/p>\n
i always remember one time in la, i went to christine’s house after work and she lit a fire in the fireplace.\u00a0 i’m pretty sure it was in the 50’s that night.\u00a0 but it was raining, which it doesn’t do much in la, plus we got very spoiled there in the beautiful warm weather.<\/p>\n
