i hope your day was filled with chocolate and love.

not necessarily in that order…

mmm, chocolate.

here are a few photos from the first part of february.

february first, when there was no snow on the ground at all, a lovely day. today is a different story – it snowed today, about 3 1/2 inches, just enough to be annoying. i took this picture of all the birds flying overhead, but i’m afraid maybe you can’t see them. they were cool.

"f1"

amy and jim’s dogs, as she walked them and they were always in a tangle. but so cute!

"f2"

on the 2nd it was warm again, but then in the afternoon the fog rolled in. it was quite a sight…or really lack thereof.

"f3"

"f4"

"f5"

"f6"

chester was happy to walk down by the water with us, and he even let kevin pet him.

"f7"

"f9"

"f10"

"f11"

"f13"

"f14"

as we stood there, a huge flock of geese flew overhead, and the setting sun light them up from below. it was spectacular. i need a really good zoom.

"f15"

"f16"

after all of that, a couple of days later i headed out for NYC, with a brief stop in chicago.

more later.

mmmm, chocolate.
