the good thing: soon – well at least sometime in the next year, i\u2019ll have an ALL NEW FORMAT for the website! new photos, new stuff, newness. christine is going to do a lot to make it happen; even though she\u2019s going through dramatic and profound changes in her own life, she\u2019s still taking time to help me. because she is a GREAT PERSON. <\/p>\n
the bad thing: the new cough medicine that i got from the doctor yesterday is CRAP. at one in the morning i examined the ingredients closely, and it\u2019s the same stuff that they put in nyquil. NOT STRONG ENOUGH. so i was pretty mad at my doctor at 3:30 a.m., and pretty much all through the night. i can\u2019t remember the last time i slept so little. i tried everything i could think of, including gargling with warm salt water and heating up some honey and drinking that. except it was too hot and i burned my entire tongue and then spit it out and burned my hand. i took some cough syrup that had expired in 2005, and a couple of advil just because.<\/p>\n
be glad you weren\u2019t around here in the middle of the night. things were not pretty.<\/p>\n
luckily i got new stuff today. kevin picked it up for me, and it\u2019s ridiculously expensive, but i have complete confidence that i\u2019ll sleep more than one hour in a row tonight. hmm, it\u2019s so expensive, maybe i\u2019ll sleep for a couple of days in a row. <\/p>\n
soon the results of the new hampshire primaries will be pouring in, and then i\u2019ll turn up the volume and watch that.<\/p>\n
yes, starting the new year out with all kinds of excitement and drama.<\/p>\n
