well, i don’t know how much time i have right now.

cuteness personified.

whenever randy comes over he plays with les a lot.  here’s les after he’s run under his fort of pillows and lept out to jump at randy.  yeah, we always have a fort of pillows on the back of the couch, and spend quite a bit of time rearranging them so les can get underneath.

i cleaned the screen porch and have been spending lots of time out there, as have the kitties and mollie, too.  chester loves it the most, though, and kept sprawling on top of the table which i know isn’t the most hygenic thing if you want to eat at the table. so i spread a big beach towel over it, and that works ok except chester is just so long that sometimes his feet hang over.  i need more towels.

here he is, assisting in the packing at mom and dad’s house effort, testing out yet another of the infinite amount of boxes needed for the move.

this is me most mornings, out on the porch with the animals.  you can just see lester there on the edge of the table.  he, naturally, doesn’t care for lying on the towel but prefers the naked table.

cute kitty.

kevin took these the other morning, yet another example of why i need to get up to see the sun rise.

on friday evening i decided to take mollie for a walk to see for myself if there were really groups of 25-50 deer out there.

first i just saw the one.

we saw a few more.

and then there were a bunch, maybe 11 or 12.  not gobs of them.  maybe it was too late in the evening; kevin saw the huge contingent when walking to class at 5:30, and we took our walk about an hour later.

the barn at the spencer house looked particularly pretty.  i took a picture of mollie as she thundered towards it – there must be a goundhog living underneath, but luckily mollie didn’t get to it.

here’s a picture of kevin and me at the SKIBEREEN cd release party.  skibereen is an awesome, awesome celtic band in springfield, and our friend hank helton is in it, and we were so happy to be there.  we were looking forward to seeing them on st. patrick’s day – they played at nine a.m., which we didn’t plan to attend, but then they played again at 2.  unfortunately, kevin didn’t feel well so he didn’t march in the parade after all, so we just stayed home.

amy took approximately one million photos of our animals, and i will post them just as soon as i am able.

ok then,

tuesday morning grace.
