EARTHQUAKE!

i’ve been sitting here for about 20 minutes, it’s now 4:45 a.m. on friday morning, i’ve been up since 2:30 because i just couldn’t sleep and suddenly the house kind of shook and then it shook pretty hard and i’m pretty sure we just had an earthquake.

here in ILLINOIS, where we don’t usually have the earthquakes. kevin woke up but i’m sure he’s sound asleep again now. he was quite excited about feeling an earthquake for the first time, but i wonder if he’ll remember it in the morning.

this is the second earthquake i’ve felt (was it really an earthquake???); the first time was in LA, where they happen much more than here.

a very dramatic start to friday. i turned on the weather channel but of course they’re not reporting anything because it JUST HAPPENED.
