i think this was my favorite lego art, maybe because it fits in so well with the grasses and the pond.

i wish i’d taken a picture of the outside seating at the fogg cafe there at the garden…but wait, somehow this was mysteriously inserted into my post.  as you can see, lots of tables overlooking the beautiful gardens.

Fogg Café

because it was slightly warm outside, plenty of people were inside in the air conditioning, so we were able to find a place in shade outside.  nice.

my chicken salad was lovely, complete with edible flower.  i could have had a cold glass of wine, but since i was driving and we still had a long day ahead of us, i just had boring water.

we thought we’d covered most of the grounds, but on the way out was a little orchid garden.

we walked through the gift shop on the way out, but i’d been so over-stimulated by all the flowers and the legos and the general beauty of the place that i couldn’t think of buying anything.  but they did have some cool stuff…

a fantastic few hours of our monday.  and then, we were off to the beach!

ok then,
