on sunday, i had the pleasure of babysitting numie and noodle for a while. i haven’t seen so much of them lately, so it was a lot of fun for all.
here they are, about to be SET FREE BY ME!

they quickly settled into one of the giant chairs to survey the scene outside.

NO, I’M NOT CRAZY! REALLY, I’M NOT!!!

noodle always looks like the most soulful, sad puppy ever. he should be on some kind of poster for something sad and poignant.

numie snuggled way under the huge blankie even though it was pretty warm in their house.

these are all pictures that i kept sending amy, to let her know that her puppies were in good hands. i sent her a picture of noodle relaxing on the couch and she texted back that he like to have the fireplace on. so i turned it on for him, of course. you can barely see the flame. turning the fireplace on only involves flipping a switch, which seemed kind of crazy to me.

poor mollie, who is always desperate to come with me wherever i might be going, but then just wants to go home if we’re visiting her cousins. here she looks sooooo sad, but maybe that’s just her mollie face.

noodle, being adorable.

and that was only a portion of sunday’s excitement…more to come.
ok then,
mrs. thursday afternoon already hughes.
