mollie is sleeping really loudly over on the other side of the couch. winnie is curled up next to me – he’d rather be in my lap, but the computer is here, so he’s content to sleep alongside.
yesterday was a little bit too busy and i have many things to do today, but i’ve been sitting around since about eight this morning, and i just don’t see many things getting accomplished, except for POSTING MANY PHOTOS FROM YESTERDAY.
today it’s not even sixty degrees, gray, but yesterday was so pretty. i wish i’d spent more time outside, but at least i was outside early.
see those flowers right next to molllie? they got SO HUGE, even though i hardly watered them at all.
we planted many many wildflower seeds and only some of them actually created flowers, but the ones we have are quite nice. maybe more will spring up next year.
winnie was thirsty, so he headed down to the old dock where kevin launches his many sailing vessels.
he was so cute, lapping up the water, and i kept taking pictures, trying to get one of his tongue. i don’t think i got it.
the severely deer-chewed hostas.
kevin planted a few tomatoes but it was kind of late. he’s excited about the tiny tomatoes, but if they manage to get any size at all, i’m sure the deer will eat them. unless maybe deer don’t like tomatoes?
i tried to fix the blurriness of this picture – here’s another little cluster of tomatoes. there’s always next year…
