i’m furiously trying to post these photos before we GO PUT THE BOAT IN THE WATER! in my mind i assumed we’d put it in sometime this afternoon but kevin informed me about 20 minutes ago that he’d like to go at 9, before all the crowds. good idea but i’m STILL IN MY NIGHTGOWN!

WHEW, i just found out i have a few more minutes…kevin wants to put in some drains under the seats – last year when it rained, lots of water collected under the seats. this fixes that problem. he said he wants to do it now, because it’s easier to do when the boat is on land. he certainly seems very confident that the boat will stay in the water, all better now.
mollie is sleeping on the couch, having NO IDEA that she’s going to have major excitement very soon….first a CAR RIDE then a BOAT RIDE! then, amy and jim’s dogs are coming over for a play date.
good thing she’s resting up now.
